In the heart of Latakia, Hermon Team proudly sponsored the InnoSync Entrepreneurship Conference, an inspiring platform where entrepreneurship, sustainable finance, and institutional innovation came together in a spirit of hope and collaboration. The conference created a dynamic space for exchanging ideas and exploring practical pathways toward a more resilient and inclusive economy.

From its opening sessions, the conference highlighted the importance of building business ecosystems that respond to local realities while aligning with global standards. Hermon Team’s sponsorship reflected its ongoing commitment to supporting entrepreneurship, fostering institutional development, and contributing to sustainable economic growth in Syria.

One of the conference’s key highlights was the panel discussion titled “Entrepreneurship and Startups,” held under the supervision of Mohammad Chamout. The panel brought together a distinguished group of speakers who shared valuable perspectives on entrepreneurship, innovation, and support mechanisms for emerging businesses.

Among the featured speakers was Ms. Sahar Issa, Regional Director of the UNDP Program in the Syrian Coast, who addressed the role of international organizations in supporting entrepreneurs and outlined available funding opportunities. Mr. Akram Zeidan, Business Development and Project Management Expert at Hermon Team, presented the company’s vision for entrepreneurial innovation and the development of sustainable business ecosystems. The discussion also featured Ms. Dina Shouman, entrepreneur and founder of the “Silah” employment platform, who shared practical insights from her experience in launching a startup that supports the labor market.

Hermon Team’s contribution to the conference extended beyond sponsorship. During the first session, dedicated to entrepreneurship and startups, Akram Zeidan shared the company’s strategic perspective on connecting local innovation with international best practices. His remarks underscored the importance of creating enabling environments in which entrepreneurs can grow, adapt, and contribute meaningfully to economic recovery.

In the second session, Ms. Alaa Alazem, CEO of Hermon Team, led an engaging dialogue that brought together representatives of large corporations, SMEs, and emerging startups. The discussion explored the interconnected challenges of financing and productivity, while also identifying practical, context-sensitive solutions tailored to the Syrian market. This session reinforced the value of open dialogue between different economic actors in shaping more effective and inclusive development pathways.

The third session offered a rich platform for discussing institutional innovation, showcasing pioneering experiences in project management, structural development, and workforce empowerment. Through these exchanges, participants examined how organizations can become more agile, adaptive, and better equipped to respond to evolving market demands.

The conclusion of the InnoSync Conference marked not an end, but the beginning of a shared journey. It represented a collective step toward a more inclusive, innovative, and resilient economy—one where entrepreneurs, institutions, and supporting organizations work together to create lasting impact.
